Pint’s Peak Ice Cream is gearing up for an incredible 2025 season, and we’re looking for passionate, hardworking, and friendly individuals to join our team!

Please note: our season runs from May through September, and this is when we need all hands on deck to keep up with our events and customers. If you have significant vacation plans during this time, Pint’s Peak may not be the best fit for you. We’re looking for team members who can commit to being present during the summer to help us make the most of our busiest season!

We may be able to start some part-time positions as early as April for training or prep work. There could be opportunities for hours in the fall, but we won’t know for sure until later in the year. If you’re available for the core season, we’d love to hear from you!

We're hiring for several roles:

-Production Cook – Part Time, 10-15 hours/week depending on events

-Event Staff – hours dependent on events, 8-10 team members, Team A & Team B

-Catering Sales Coordinator - Part time year-round 1099 position, hybrid role with mostly remote work and some travel to client meetings and events

EVENT TEAM MEMBERS (FOOD TRUCK & CATERING)
Location: Denver, CO
Compensation: average $23-26/hour (base pay $18.81/$15.79 + tip pool)
Part time & Seasonal

Our event staff are the heart of our business, bringing the Pint’s Peak experience to weddings, parties, festivals, and beyond. We’re hiring for two types of event staff:

  • Team A: Fully trained to operate the ice cream truck solo. We’re looking for candidates with more availability who can step up for key shifts and lead events.

  • Team B: Backup team members to assist with larger events, festivals, and extra hands when needed. Perfect for those with limited availability. Typically these team members will meet the truck or cart at the event site to assist.

We’re looking for part time food truck & event staff for this season that runs from May - September. This position entails working a variety of food truck events including farmers markets, pop-ups, concerts and festivals. This role could also include serving ice cream cups from our ice cream cart at events.

This is a very customer service oriented role and ideal for a candidate looking to take ownership of operating the ice cream truck as most shifts are solo. We’re looking for candidates that have experience in food service (restaurant, hotel, catering, or food truck), retail, or customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities
● Be the face of the brand and assist with all customer service from serving the ice cream and specials to ringing up transactions and cash handling
● Maintain product knowledge and answer any questions customers may have with excellent customer service
● Drive truck to and from events, set up and breakdown of food truck events including public vending events and private events/catering
● Deliver ice cream cart to and from events, serve ice cream cups from cart
● Ensure everything is packed correctly before leaving for events in a timely manner, ensure everything gets put back in place upon return according to company standards including cleaning dishes, trash and recycling removal
● Maintain a clean, food safe, and tidy work environment per company standards
● Follow guidelines set forth by our farmers markets, events, and partners to ensure our success and return invitation for future seasons and events
● Other duties as assigned

Requirements
● Ability to stand on your feet for several hours in a range of temperatures; we work in all weather and seasons
● Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds
● Reliable transportation to our kitchen and event sites around the Denver Metro area
● Flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team A needs to have more availability where Team B can is perfect for those with limited availability.
● Clean driving record and valid driver’s license (Team A)

PRODUCTION COOK
Location: Denver, CO
Compensation: average $21-24/hour (base pay $18.81-$20.00/hr + tip pool)
Part time & Seasonal, roughly 10-15 hours per week based on events
this could be a hybrid role with Event Team Member for the right candidate

Pint’s Peak Ice Cream is hiring a production cook! This position will be focused on producing everything needed for our ice creams from start to finish. We proudly make everything from scratch.

This position is part time with 10-15 hours per week as a base and will fluctuate based on business needs. If the candidate is interested there may be additional work available onsite at events as we lead into a busy 2025 event season.

Duties & Responsibilities

● Work with production manager on schedule, par, and inventory including special orders and event orders, establish priority items for the day
● Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides according to company standards
● Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as safely intended
● Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and requirements
● Meet with Production Manager to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes and other pertinent information
● Ensure the cleanliness and working conditions of all tools, equipment and supplies
● Reliable transportation to our kitchen
● Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
● Ability to stand on your feet for several hours and comfortably work in varying temperatures, including frequent trips in and out of cold walk-in freezers and refrigerators
● Ability to lift minimum 25 pounds
● Demonstrates adequate pastry skills and ability to follow instructions. Menu items include ice cream bases, cookies, cakes, sauces, etc
● Be able to plan and prepare for regular production, catering, and special events
● Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends

The ideal candidate:
● has a minimum of 1 year professional cooking experience (pastry preferred but not required)
● is a self starter comfortable working alone or with others

CATERING SALES COORDINATOR
Location: Hybrid remote, with some local travel in and around Denver
Compensation: commission based with flat rates and bonus opportunities. Estimated annual salary range $5,700-$13,000+ based on performance.
This is a year-round position.

The Catering Sales Coordinator will manage and grow Pint’s Peak’s catering sales, primarily focusing on lead generation, client relationship building, and event booking. This is a part-time contractor (1099) position, perfect for an experienced sales professional with a passion for food events, strong networking skills, and the ability to work independently. The Sales Coordinator will primarily work remotely with some local travel to client meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound catering leads, guiding them through our offerings and booking process.

  • Manage administrative tasks, including:

  • Communicating via email, checking a minimum of every other day for timely responses

  • Using Google Docs for documentation and collaboration

  • Scheduling and tracking events in Sling

  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping in all systems to maintain a seamless workflow

  • Utilize NetHunt CRM to track and organize all client interactions, proactive outreach efforts, and event details

  • Actively generate new leads through outreach to corporate, wedding, and event planning organizations. Be the face of the Pint’s Peak brand, networking within relevant organizations.

  • Develop and nurture client relationships to build repeat and referral business.

  • Collaborate with the production team and owner to align client expectations with capabilities.

  • Identify and attend networking events or expos (expenses covered) to increase brand visibility.

  • Track sales metrics and provide regular updates on outreach efforts, lead conversions, and client feedback.

  • Complete and submit a monthly expense report for reimbursement of approved client-related travel and meeting expenses.

Compensation
Base Rate
: $50 per party booked (paid per successful event).
Commission: 5% on the total sales of each booked event.
Bonus: Additional Quarterly Bonuses and Annual Bonuses based on sales goals.
Mileage & Expenses: Covered for all client meetings and related local travel.
Estimated annual earnings $5,700-$11,000+, with potential for higher earnings based on performance.

Performance Goals
To support Pint's Peak's growth, the Catering Sales Coordinator will work toward these key goals:

Sales Targets:
Achieve quarterly catering sales goals to qualify for the quarterly bonus.
Contribute to annual catering growth for additional incentives.

Proactive Outreach:
Minimum of 10 proactive outreach activities monthly, including client check-ins, venue contacts, and participation in industry events.

Client Retention and Referral:
Encourage repeat business and referrals, aiming for at least 30% of bookings to be from repeat or referral clients.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience: 2+ years in catering or event sales, ideally in the food and beverage or hospitality industries.

  • Network: Strong connections in Denver and beyond, particularly with professionals in hospitality, catering, corporate event planning, or related fields, to help drive new business opportunities.

  • Proactive Sales Approach: Demonstrated ability to drive sales through cold outreach, client networking, and relationship-building.

  • Self-Motivated: Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and attention to client needs.
