We’re looking for team members who can commit to being present during the summer to help us make the most of our busiest season!

We may be able to start some part-time positions as early as April for training or prep work. There could be opportunities for hours in the fall, but we won’t know for sure until later in the year. If you’re available for the core season, we’d love to hear from you!

We're hiring for several roles:

1. Food Truck Lead – Full Time

2. Production Cook – Part Time, 10-15 hours/week depending on events

3. Event Staff – hours dependent on events, 8-10 team members, Team A & Team B

Job Title: Food Truck Lead (Full-Time, Seasonal)
Location: Denver, CO
Compensation: Average $23-$26/hour (base pay starting at $18.81/hour + tip pool). Minimum $22-25/hour guaranteed by company DOE, with potential for a raise after 30-day performance review.
Season: May - September, with potential for additional hours in fall/winter based on events. Training with limited hours begins in April.

Position Overview:
As Food Truck Lead, your primary responsibility will be running and maintaining Pint’s Peak’s ice cream truck and overseeing the execution of various events (including farmers markets, private catering, festivals, concerts, and more). While your main focus will be on events, there may be opportunities for you to assist with production when your schedule allows. You will be expected to take ownership of the food truck’s and cart’s day-to-day operations and maintenance and be flexible to adjust to event demands as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Pint’s Peak ice cream events, public and private, ensuring smooth and organized service.

  • Drive the truck to and from events, ensuring safe operation and compliance with all driving and food safety regulations. Delivery of ice cream cart and service depending on event.

  • Set up and break down for all events, including managing any packing, unpacking, and cleaning tasks to ensure the truck and event space meet company standards.

  • Ensure the truck is well-maintained and in good working order—this includes basic troubleshooting, coordinating with the owner for more extensive repairs, and keeping it clean (inside and out) and food-safe. Candidate should be confident not only driving a larger vehicle but also handling basic maintenance tasks. We'll provide thorough training at the start of the season to ensure you're ready to tackle these responsibilities.

  • Be the face of Pint’s Peak by providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, answering questions, and being knowledgeable about our ice cream products.

  • Assist in production when not scheduled for events, particularly in busy times, with a focus on kitchen support, prepping ingredients, and packaging.

  • Monitor inventory and supplies, coordinate with Production Manager for ordering to ensure the truck is fully stocked with products and materials for each event.

  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, food-safe environment in compliance with company policies.

  • Work collaboratively with our small team to support company goals and adapt to any last-minute changes or challenges.

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for several hours and work in outdoor conditions.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

  • Reliable transportation to our kitchen and event sites across the Denver metro area.

  • Flexible working hours, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (our events are primarily afternoon/evening).

  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

  • Previous food truck, restaurant, catering, or event experience (1+ year preferred).

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude who can take ownership of running the truck and events, including maintenance.

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Most shifts will be solo, so this person must be confident managing the truck on their own.

  • Able to handle a fast-paced, high-energy environment with enthusiasm and urgency.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and unexpected challenges, with the willingness to jump into different roles when needed (including occasional production help).

  • Passionate about food, hospitality, and supporting local businesses, and eager to contribute to our growing brand.

Perks:

  • Free and employee-discounted ice cream.

  • Opportunity for career growth as the company expands.

  • Flexible scheduling and a work environment committed to personal development.

  • Opportunities to connect with other local makers and community members.

  • Enjoy going home smelling like sugar and ice cream!
